Do I need robotics experience?

URC Malaysia welcomes participants of all skill levels — whether you’re just getting started or already building bots in your bedroom.
If you have the passion to learn and explore, we’ve got your back. Leading up to the competition, you’ll be invited to exclusive workshops and webinars where our trainers will guide you step-by-step on how to build, code, and prepare your robot for the challenge. So, bring your curiosity — we’ll handle the rest!
Can I join without a team?
Yes, don’t worry
You can still join URC Malaysia. Simply register for the Robotics Game Challenge category, which is specially designed for individual participants. It’s the perfect way to get in the game, sharpen your skills, and still have a blast, even if you don’t have a team (yet!).
How do I buy the kit if I don’t have one?
Great news — you might not even need to buy it!
Join one of our hands-on Workshops (Robot4School), and your school will receive a FREE robotics set to use in the competition! These workshops are a fantastic way to learn, connect with other participants, and get your robot up and running.
